We are Save the Waves, volunteer-based site for helping aquariums and marine research centers. Our goal is to help out understaffed marine centers by giving citizens such as you the opportunity to volunteer with tasks that aquariums may not have enough staff to do.

It is our mission to make volunteering as simple and straightforward as possible. Each volunteering event has a detailed description with important information such as things you need to complete the event, things you need to know how to do, and time-related details. We provide as many details as we can in as many days in advance as we can for your convenience and ease of access.
